evil. I read Anne Frank’s diary. I read <em class="po">The Upstairs Room</em>. Later, I read <em class="po">Night</em> by Elie Wiesel and a whole library of similar books, always trying to understand what attracts some people to evil. My high school did a surprisingly good job of covering the Holocaust, complete with explicit pictures.
