Opening up Portcullis House allowed young people to discuss issues relevant to them in a new and creative way mirroring the day to day business of Parliament. </p> <p>Presented by Channel 4 Education and SB.TV, the DB8 event welcomed young people into Parliament for an exciting fusion of debate and upcoming grime artists. </p> <p>Staged in Portcullis House, a space normally used by MPs and committees,  the event had the UK’s best grime artists - including Mic Righteous and Rizzle Kicks - summarising points made by the young audience during each of the debated statements.</p> <p>Each round focused on the state of young people in the UK today and followed the rules of competitive debating – one motion, two sides, for and against.
