In order to achieve the best designs, you will need control in terms of the tool you are using to do the work. Adobe Illustrator has made that possible on my part. I can design iconography and render drawings in an accurate manner. I can take my designs to where I want them to beyond the barriers. This form of control is what makes this tool worth working with. It is easy to use and you can make use of it for bigger tasks in your design projects.</p> <p><strong>CONS:</strong> It can be heavy on your computer due to its robust nature. If you are using a computer that has normal specifications, then you can expect it to slow down your workflow. For my case, I find it heavy on my machine which leaves me to concentrate on the smaller and less complex designs such as logos and icons. It would be better if it was not that heavy as I would be able to undertake even the bigger projects while still using my computer. For vector illustrating, this product does wonders. I cannot see myself relying on any other tool for my design work since this is what I know as the best. In college I was taught how to design using Illustrator and thus I find solace there. Apart from that, it is popular tool in the field which is good for those who want to learn more on how to use it or for beginners. This is because there are numerous tutorials out there that will help you to get started without much hustle. If you want to edit prints, photos, graphics and websites, then you should settle for Illustrator as it is impressive. It is compatible with other Adobe products such as Dreamweaver and Photoshop.</p> <p><strong>CONS:</strong> The price aspect is not that good on my part. I feel that it could be made lower as it is, it is very expensive. The Cloud Creative feature is very new to me and I have not had the time to explore it in full length since I use this product at work only. Apart from the price, Illustrator does not offer tutorials for beginners at the start of the use of this product. This could be a drawback as they may not get to have a smooth start at the beginning. And I still love it! It has many great things to offer such as a tons of libraries of downloadable brushes, many flexible and powerful tools, simple and well-designed interface, integrations, and many more. Whether you need to create simple graphics or an intricate one, this app surely got your back covered.</p> <p><strong>CONS:</strong> I often struggle creating pixel perfect icons. I just cannot put the lines exactly where I want them to be. Aside from that, this app is not easy to master. There are just too many tools available. It can customize standard photos in seconds. We can also customize how this feature works, which is definitely amazing and helpful.The resulting vector image becomes more crisp. Aside from that, I also like the versatility of anchor points. We are able to create new lines or change curves without breaking other parts of the design. Lastly, I love how straightforward the basic functionality of this software.</p> <p><strong>CONS:</strong> I am a long time user of this app but until now I can say I haven't mastered the app yet. There's still so much to learn. It still takes me hours to create design from scratch. With so many incredible features and tools, Illustrator is undeniably the best of its kind.</p> <p><strong>CONS:</strong> There’s a steep learning curve. The app is pretty complex and has many features and tools so it may take you some time to figure out how each one of them works. Also, it’s pretty expensive. But with everything it offers, I believe the price is reasonable. Lastly, if your file is heavy, the app automatically disables its autosaving function. If you want to take care of your design and edit projects, then this tool will do all that for you. Since it has a simple user interface, you can even teach someone on how to use it. It brings everything to the table in terms of the many tools it has. I cannot see myself using other Adobe programs as I do with Illustrator. It has become a one stop shop for all my design works or projects. I can count on it to ensure that I successfully complete projects within the specified timeframe.</p> <p><strong>CONS:</strong> There is very little to dislike about this tool. To start off, it is my go to program as it has all the tools I need to work on my projects. Apart from that, I have grown into how well it helps me to be creative and create quality designs. However, there is the problem with the deign board. It does not offer the smooth workflow functionality I would want it to offer. The space on the design board where you are required to place your art boards is limited. This means that, it will come a point where they will be no more space to add the art boards. It is that great and simple. It has a pool of tools that allow you to accomplish your goals in the best way possible. It helps you to become creative and then convert that creativity into a masterpiece. The Creative Cloud is the new thing in Illustrator which improves how the product works. Apart from that, you can get up to speed with the latest version of the same and use tools such as Adobe Capture, and Shape.</p> <p><strong>CONS:</strong> Despite it being among the best in the market, I find the price to be too much. For my case I would say that the company I work for pays the bill and thus I have now problem with that. However, if sit were up to me to take care of that bill, I would not be able to afford it. I feel that the price should be lower than this as most people especially freelancers would not be able to afford subscribing to tis product. All in all, the price is right when you consider the functionalities Illustrator brings to designers. In order to achieve the best designs, you will need control in terms of the tool you are using to do the work. Adobe Illustrator has made that possible on my part. I can design iconography and render drawings in an accurate manner. I can take my designs to where I want them to beyond the barriers. This form of control is what makes this tool worth working with. It is easy to use and you can make use of it for bigger tasks in your design projects.</p> <p><strong>CONS:</strong> It can be heavy on your computer due to its robust nature. If you are using a computer that has normal specifications, then you can expect it to slow down your workflow. For my case, I find it heavy on my machine which leaves me to concentrate on the smaller and less complex designs such as logos and icons. It would be better if it was not that heavy as I would be able to undertake even the bigger projects while still using my computer. We are able to create and design graphics according to the requirements of the company and the clients. Some of what we make are vector-based logos and arts. The best thing, the output are all of high quality. Additionally, this app supports Windows and Mac so users have an option. We are able to work on a platform we are most comfortable.</p> <p><strong>CONS:</strong> There are too many tools and effects to learn. So it may take a beginner some time to learn everything. Also, the keyboard shortcuts are different from other Adobe software and it can be confusing at first. Lastly, it is costly. Specifically, I like its integration with CC software as well as the crossover of some of the available effects which was introduced in the new version. The new versions includes many more amazing tools like the 3D effects and asset export, which are great. The software's layout as well as structure is similar to other CC apps, making it really intuitive.</p> <p><strong>CONS:</strong> They have been introducing new features every now and then. And considering the number of existing tools and functions they have (which mostly are complex), it's pretty hard to keep up to date with the new features they introduce. Sometimes, the smooth, pen, and shape tools enable me to create logos using mouse instead of a pencil and pen. I just look for an inspiration photo and trace it. Other times, I just make a rough drawing and then scan it.</p> <p><strong>CONS:</strong> The settings are sometimes a bit finicky. For instance, I have to ensure that the settings are right when resizing a shape or logo otherwise the outcome will not be proportional. But it's not really a big deal. First, it can be integrated with other Adobe Creative Cloud tools like Photoshop as well as with Adobe Mobile apps. Second, this app has made it possible to manage round corners of the geometric shapes I use. Third, you can darken it's UI. It's a great function that lessens the stress of working for hours. Illustrator comes out as a winner. It is not only easy to use but also incorporates the many tools to help you succeed in your design specifications. It has a friendly user interface with an attractive layout that makes things look simple. Navigating our way around the tool is easy as there are short cuts on how to move from one to tool to the other. As a result, you can become more efficient in your work where you can quickly complete projects and without much hustle. In short, it makes your design projects easier to complete due to such shortcuts.</p> <p><strong>CONS:</strong> It is not a heavy duty design tool. It is not able to handle big files. Whenever I try to design a big file, the system crashes and all the changes I had made are lost in the process. This can be frustrating when you think about it. As a result, I cannot design big files due to the risk of losing the changes I have made overtime on the files. Apart from that, it would be better if it had an auto save feature where you do not have to save the changes manually. It has multiple features and each one of them has a distinct function. Although it has been 6 years using this tool, I am yet to say that I have a grasp of all the features in store. You can take multiple paths in designing with this program, which makes it fun and enjoyable to use. With mark and pattern marking tools, you can come up with designs based on how you see them in your head.</p> <p><strong>CONS:</strong> It can be disappointing at times especially when you zoom in your design work. Sometimes when you are using small elements to design your pieces, you might end up not being able to move the items to their exact position. This means that they will not be able to align well at the grid. As a result, your design will not come out as you would have wanted which means more frustrations on your part. For vector illustrating, this product does wonders. I cannot see myself relying on any other tool for my design work since this is what I know as the best. In college I was taught how to design using Illustrator and thus I find solace there. Apart from that, it is popular tool in the field which is good for those who want to learn more on how to use it or for beginners. This is because there are numerous tutorials out there that will help you to get started without much hustle. If you want to edit prints, photos, graphics and websites, then you should settle for Illustrator as it is impressive. It is compatible with other Adobe products such as Dreamweaver and Photoshop.</p> <p><strong>CONS:</strong> The price aspect is not that good on my part. I feel that it could be made lower as it is, it is very expensive. The Cloud Creative feature is very new to me and I have not had the time to explore it in full length since I use this product at work only. Apart from the price, Illustrator does not offer tutorials for beginners at the start of the use of this product. This could be a drawback as they may not get to have a smooth start at the beginning. It has multiple tools for you to choose from where you will find every tool for every aspect of design you want to undertake. With the recent upgrade of the program, users can now use colors to edit their design works. It has made things easier for designers to accomplish their dream designs and projects. It is a reliable program for vector application where it offers perfect results for users.</p> <p><strong>CONS:</strong> Illustrator has a few problems that need addressing. When it comes to integration with other Adobe programs, Illustrator does not do so well on that part. It lacks resources and thus integration with programs such as Adobe Stock would help increase its efficiency in terms of the design. The vector part of Illustrator should integrate more with Adobe Stock to make this feature more reliable. Also, it would be better I there were more graphics elements and icons on the program as the ones available are not enough.
