and then, to get them through a difficult patch.</p> <p>Royal Scots Benevolence provides financial help to Royal Scots and their dependents, when they need it most.</p> <p>Examples include help for those who:</p> <p>– have health-related needs<br /> – would benefit from respite<br /> – are at risk of homelessness<br /> – need training or retraining to get work.</p> <p>Royal Scots Benevolence gave a total of £22,195 in varying amounts to 63 people, from £53 for an emergency phone to £1,800 in short-term support for an older couple after one of them had a major stroke.</p> <p>Help is often supplied by more than one military organisation.
