Service administers the programs and facilities of the NWS throughout a large expanse of the Pacific.  This area includes the <a href="https://www.weather.gov/prh/aboutHI">Islands of Hawaii</a>, <a href="https://www.weather.gov/prh/aboutGUM">Guam and the Northern Mariana Islands</a>, the <a href="https://www.weather.gov/prh/aboutFSM">Federated States of Micronesia</a>,<a href="https://www.weather.gov/prh/aboutMAJ"> the Republic of the Marshall Islands</a>, <a href="https://www.weather.gov/prh/aboutKOR">the Republic of Palau</a>, and south to <a href="https://www.weather.gov/prh/aboutPPG">American Samoa</a>.</p> <p>The <a href="https://www.weather.gov/prh/aboutPTWC">Pacific Tsunami Warning Center</a> and the <a href="https://www.weather.gov/prh/aboutITIC">International Tsunami Information Center</a> are also administered by the NWS Pacific Region, providing Pacific-basin tsunami watches, warnings, and
