{"title":"Research on the Evaluation of Enterprise-University-Research Cooperation Ability in Hubei Province","authors":"Dongfang Qiu, Yilin Lu","volume":90,"journal":"International Journal of Economics and Management Engineering","pagesStart":1724,"pagesEnd":1732,"ISSN":"1307-6892","URL":"https:\/\/publications.waset.org\/pdf\/9998503","abstract":"<p>The measurement of enterprise-university-research<br \/>\r\ncooperative efficiency has important meanings in improving the<br \/>\r\ncooperative efficiency, strengthening the effective integration of<br \/>\r\nregional resource, enhancing the ability of regional innovation and<br \/>\r\npromoting the development of regional economy. The paper<br \/>\r\nconstructs the DEA method and DEA-Malmquist productivity index<br \/>\r\nmethod to research the cooperation efficiency of Hubei by making<br \/>\r\ncomparisons with other provinces in China. The study found out the<br \/>\r\nindex of technology efficiency is 0.52 and the enterprise-universityresearch<br \/>\r\ncooperative efficiency is Non-DEA efficient. To realize the<br \/>\r\nDEA efficiency of Hubei province, the amount of 1652.596 R&amp;D<br \/>\r\nemployees and 638.368 R&amp;D employees&rsquo; full time equivalence should<br \/>\r\nbe reduced or 137.89 billion yuan of new products&rsquo; sales income be<br \/>\r\nincreased.
