leverage on the internationally acknowledged track record and innovation activities of the Nanotechnology Lab LTFN/AUTh. The new <strong>Centre of Excellence will be a unique, independent, autonomous and self-sustained National and European CoE for Organic & Printed Electronics and Nanotechnologies (COPE-Nano)</strong> in Thessaloniki.</p> <p>The CoA is looking for a highly experienced and well-educated manager in order to lead and organize a team, managing the daily operation, administration and to support the Director in all the COPE-Nano activities.</p> <p><strong>Responsibilities</strong></p> <ul> <li>Overseeing day-by-day COPE-Nano Implementation of all the activities for the establishment and operation of the CoE</li> <li>Organizing CoE Administration Depts and recruit qualified administrative personnel</li> <li>Plans, organizes and executes business strategies to attain the goals of the CoE</li> <li>Delegate responsibilities and supervise the work of executives providing guidance and motivation to drive maximum performance</li> <li>Ensure CoE policies and legal guidelines are communicated all the way from the top down and that they are always followed</li> <li>Maintain project timelines to ensure tasks are accomplished effectively</li> <li>Develop, implement, and maintain budgetary and resource allocation plans</li> <li>Ensuring the company’s financial performance, overall success and liability</li> <li>Reviewing deliverables, periodic reports and adjusting operations to better meet COPE-Nano goals</li> <li>Represents COPE-Nano at various meetings and activities as required</li> </ul> <p><strong>Qualifications</strong></p> <ul> <li>Higher Education Degree in Finance and/or Business or Business Engineering</li> <li>Master’s degree in Business Administration</li> <li>PhD will be considered positive</li> <li>Excellent communication, collaboration, and delegation skills</li> <li>Proven experience as General Director at least 5 years and/or other senior management positions in Large Companies or/and Organizations</li> <li>Proven experience in implementation and management of European and National Research, Innovation and Industrial projects</li> <li>Strong understanding of corporate finance and measures of performance</li> <li>Familiarity with corporate law, finance and management best practices</li> <li>Working knowledge of human-resources processes</li> <li>Knowledge of budgeting, financial management, and business operations</li> <li>Excellent knowledge in English</li> <li>Proficient in using Microsoft Office and other business software</li> </ul> <p><strong>Documents and References</strong></p> <ul> <li>All experience proof documents, degrees and certifications</li> <li>3 recent references from previous jobs are mandatory</li> </ul> <p>Applications and Documents must be submitted to <joomla-hidden-mail is-link="1" is-email="1" first="aW5mbw==" last="Y29wZS1uYW5vLmV1" text="aW5mb0Bjb3BlLW5hbm8uZXU=" base=""> This email address is being protected from spambots. Additional qualifications will be positively considered.</li> <li>Competent with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook) and “back-office” software (e.g. ERP).</li> <li>Communication Skills: Strong proficiency in both spoken and written English.
