<A name="6"></a><span class="reftext"><a href="/parallel/genesis/20-5.htm#aramaic"><b>5</b></a></span>Behold, he said, ‘She is my sister’, and also she said, ‘He is my brother.’ I have done this in the perfection of my heart and in the purity of my hands.” <A name="7"></a><span class="reftext"><a href="/parallel/genesis/20-6.htm#aramaic"><b>6</b></a></span>And God said to him in a dream “I know also that in perfection of your heart you have done this and I have restrained you also that you would not sin against me; because of this I did not let you touch her. <A name="8"></a><span class="reftext"><a href="/parallel/genesis/20-7.htm#aramaic"><b>7</b></a></span>Now return the wife of the man, because he is a prophet, and he will pray for you and you will live, and if you do not return her, know that surely you die, and everyone that you have.”<p> <A name="9"></a><span class="reftext"><a href="/parallel/genesis/20-8.htm#aramaic"><b>8</b></a></span>And Abimelek arose early at dawn and he called all his Servants and he spoke all these words in their ears, and the men were very afraid. <A name="10"></a><span class="reftext"><a href="/parallel/genesis/20-9.htm#aramaic"><b>9</b></a></span>And Abimelek called Abraham and said to him, “What have I done to you, and what have I sinned against you, that you have brought great sins against me and against My kingdom?
