Au volant d'un Taycan GTS, l'instructeur Jens Richter est parvenu à boucler 132 tours en survirage contrôlé. En 46 minutes, notre homme a parcouru très exactement 17,503 kilomètres. Elle a en outre tiré parti de la tombée de la nuit, qui a fait baisser la température de la glace. Une stratégie gagnante : Jens Richter est parvenu à garder le Taycan GTS de série en dérapage contrôlé, en jouant uniquement sur l'accélérateur et la direction sur 17,503 kilomètres, soit pas moins de 132 tours. Avec cette distance, il établit un nouveau record mondial du plus long dérapage sur glace pour une voiture électrique, pulvérisant le précédent record de 14,809 km.</p> <p>« Avec ce nouveau record mondial sur glace homologué par GUINNESS, le Taycan a encore une fois apporté la preuve de ses qualités exceptionnelles », s'enthousiasme Jens Richter. « Et, cette fois, avec la transmission intégrale ! Le fait que le Taycan GTS soit aussi performant dans des conditions extrêmes en dit long sur l'excellence de son châssis et sur son équilibre irréprochable. »</p>  <section class="comp-slider-article </div> </div> </section> <p>C'est sous l'&oelig;il attentif des représentants de GUINNESS WORLD RECORDS que la voiture s'est élancée sur la piste glacée du Porsche Arctic Center de Levi, en Finlande, à quelque 150 kilomètres au nord du cercle polaire. En vue de cette tentative, l'équipe avait préparé un cercle de 59 mètres de diamètre. Et c'est avec les deux essieux du Taycan GTS des pneus standard Michelin avec des clous d'un millimètre qu'elle trouvé la configuration gagnante.</p> <p>Pour garantir l'exactitude, la voiture était en outre équipée d'un dispositif de mesure GPS professionnel qui a permis non seulement de mesurer la distance, mais aussi les actions du pilote, comme les mouvements du volant, les accélérations et En effet, en 2023, le Taycan Cross Turismo a établi un autre record mondial homologué par GUINNESS en avalant un dénivelé de 5 573 mètres sur la route reliant le Xinjiang et le Tibet, soit le plus important dénivelé jamais atteint avec une voiture électrique.</p> <p>En 2021, le pilote de course Leh Keen a, quant à lui, réussi à pousser un Porsche Taycan à 165,1 km dans un hall lors d'un salon à la Nouvelle-Orléans, dans Louisiane, s'adjugeant ainsi le record de vitesse en intérieur pour une voiture.
