Pour s’en convaincre, il n’est que de citer les œuvres de Lully, <a href="http://catalogue.bnf.fr/ark:/12148/cb39788713p" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer"><em>Isis</em></a> (1677) et <a href="http://catalogue.bnf.fr/ark:/12148/cb43122976p" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer"><em>Phaéton </em></a>(1683), de Desmarets, <a href="http://catalogue.bnf.fr/ark:/12148/cb39783486v" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer"><em>Théagène et Cariclée</em></a> (1695), de Rameau, <a href="http://catalogue.bnf.fr/ark:/12148/cb41428535p" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer"><em>Les Fêtes de l’Hymen et de l’Amour ou les Dieux d’Égypte</em></a> (1748) ou encore de Salieri, <a href="http://catalogue.bnf.fr/ark:/12148/cb30387068v" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer"><em>Les Danaïdes</em></a> (1784). Il est composé de <a href="http://gallica.bnf.fr/ark:/12148/btv1b55010471v" target="_blank" rel="noopener">neuf éléments</a> dont un long m<span id="descriptionCollapseChild">anteau rouge, une sous robe, une paire de boucles d’oreille en forme de fleurs dorées et une coiffe. Il appartient aux <a href="http://archivesetmanuscrits.bnf.fr/ark:/12148/cc4755d" target="_blank" rel="noopener">archives</a> que la troupe verse régulièrement depuis 2007 au <a href="http://www.bnf.fr/fr/la_bnf/dpt_asp.html" target="_blank" rel="noopener">département des Arts du spectacle</a> de la Bibliothèque nationale de France. Avec ce fonds de costumes, le département a mis en place de <a href="http://gallica.bnf.fr/blog/05042017/les-costumes-du-theatre-du-soleil-font-leur-entree-dans-gallica" target="_blank" rel="noopener">nouveaux modes de numérisation</a> depuis 2016 pour les faire entrer dans <a href="http://gallica.bnf.fr/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Gallica</a>. </span></p> <p style="text-align: justify"><span id="descriptionCollapseChild">“Par l’attention portée au choix des tissus et à leur polychromie, souvent superposés pour créer un effet de volume, le costume est un éblouissement visuel pour les yeux des spectateurs. Puisant leur inspiration en Asie, les costumes du <a href="http://www.theatre-du-soleil.fr/thsol/nos-spectacles-et-nos-films/nos-spectacles/les-atrides-1990-92/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">cycle des Atrides</a>, et en particulier celui du Coryphée, participent du voyage entrepris par la troupe du Soleil vers la tragédie antique et la redécouverte d’une des formes essentielles du théâtre”. La taille minutieuse de l’améthyste montre une grande maîtrise technique.</p> <p><img loading="lazy" decoding="async" class="alignnone size-large wp-image-26872" src="https://antiquitebnf.hypotheses.org/files/2024/11/Intaille_en_amethyste.jpg" alt="" width="86" height="366" /> <img loading="lazy" decoding="async" class="alignnone size-full wp-image-26867" src="https://antiquitebnf.hypotheses.org/files/2024/11/Intaille_en_amethyste-det.jpeg" alt="" width="133" height="164" /></p> <p>Sur le bord gauche, des lettres grecques en majuscule disposées à la verticale formant le nom O ΠΕΤΡΟC et, à droite, une croix plantée à la base du cou à l’arrière du drapé du paludamentum furent ajoutées à l’époque byzantine, transformant ce portrait païen en une effigie de saint Pierre.</p> <p>La pierre gravée est citée dans l’inventaire de 1336 du <a href="https://data.bnf.fr/ark:/12148/cb18024160s" target="_blank" rel="noopener">trésor de la Sainte-Chapelle de Paris</a>, enchâssée dans la reliure d’argent doré du second évangéliaire de la Sainte-Chapelle, réalisé peu après 1241.</p> <p>Au moment de la Révolution française et de la naissance de la notion de patrimoine, Louis XVI fit déposer à la Bibliothèque royale un grand nombre d’oeuvres pour assurer leur préservation. Le manuscrit aujourd’hui conservé sous la cote <a href="https://archivesetmanuscrits.bnf.fr/ark:/12148/cc774805?collect" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Latin 9455</a> arriva en 1791 au Département des manuscrits.
