</script> <p class='general'>Coordinates:<br>33掳56'12.97" S 18掳25'08.74" E Alt: 66m</p></td></tr></table><table width='98%'><tr><td><p class='p1'><b>Notes:</b><br><p>This synagogue for the Cape Town Orthodox Hebrew Congregation opened in January 1939. The first rabbi was Rabbi Moses Mirvish, followed by Rabbi Duschensky. Rabbi Mirvish is commemorated in the name of the street on the east side of the synagogue.</p> <p>The synagogue closed down on 8 August 1993. Most of its contents, including the Torah Scrolls, went to the <a href='bldgframes.php?bldgid=10666&countadd=1' class='general' target='_blank'>Schoonder Street Shul</a>.
